SEA-PAC 2026 is packed with activities for hams of all ages and experience levels. Here's what's planned for the weekend.
Varying levels of Foxes will be hidden around Seaside — easier to locate for newer hunters and increasing in difficulty for the more experienced. When you get close, look for the QR code near the transmitter and log your name, callsign, date, and time found. More details in the convention booklet.
A station will be set up on the convention floor to make Lewis & Clark Trail on the Air contacts. Stop by and talk to the radio operators at the station if you'd like to participate.
Try your hand at soldering with a simple kit — great for first-timers and a fun refresher for the experienced. Kits are available for purchase during registration or at the registration desk.
Meet and greet friends old and new, ARRL guests, the Northwestern Division Director and Vice Director, section managers, and SEA-PAC Committee members. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a no-host bar will be available. Sign up when you register.
Join fellow hams for a sunset on the beach! Bring a portable radio and antenna to operate, or come watch the variety of portable rigs in action. Operate on any band your license allows — we usually have 30-50 people in attendance. The walkway along the beach is accessible for those on wheels.
Cancelled if it rains. For more information, contact radiosatthebeach@seapac.org.
Scott Rosenfeld (N7JI) and Hannah Rosenfeld (W7HER/FW7H) will present their experiences from their recent DXpedition to Wallis and Futuna Islands — currently #204 on the Club Log most wanted list for the western US and #96 globally.
Carla Herman (KJ7ZZG) will speak on "Chasing QSOs — Special Events, QSL Cards, and More." Carla enjoys collecting QSL cards, working special events, and activating parks with her OM, Jack (KF7UGV).
Learn what ARRL is doing during the “Year of the Club” and America's 250th Anniversary. Hear from ARRL leadership including Mark Tharp (KB7HDX) and other dignitaries.
Good company, food prepared by Oregon Fine Foods, and talks from ARRL dignitaries and our keynote speaker. Neil is a long-time teacher and advocate for introducing amateur radio to youth.
