If you are driving via Highway US 26, be aware that heavy rains have buckled the road in multiple locations, creating raised sections that have sent vehicles off the road. The Oregon Department of Transportation has reduced speeds to 5 mph through these areas.
Pay close attention to posted and recommended speed signs. Please drive safely.
There is parking adjacent to the Convention Center on the northeast side (Necanicum Dr) and in the public parking lot directly to the west — however, overnight parking is not allowed in these lots. Hams have been woken by local police and asked to move their vehicles in the middle of the night.
A limited number of overnight parking permits are available at the Seaside Welcome Center during normal business hours for qualifying use (overnight lodging must already be arranged). Vehicle make/model and license plate are shared with police. No sleeping in vehicles is allowed even with a permit. Permitted overnight parking is in the Welcome Center lot.
